The Quinta da Saudade is a small British-run estate of privately-owned villas occupying approximately twenty-four acres about five miles west of Albufeira.  Nestling in the peaceful country setting of an old hillside farm estate and set amid orange, almond and olive trees, the Quinta is about forty-five minutes drive from the Airport at Faro.

The nearest beach, less than two miles away, is a magnificent long stretch of sand, bounded by dunes, where it is always possible to escape the crowds, even in August.

There are two swimming pools, a children’s play area and pool, tennis court, restaurant and bar, mini-golf course, table tennis, and petanque.

There are Riding Stables at the Quinta with fabulous horses that can be taken out for gallops across the dunes or slow hacks through the countryside.

This particular villa 3B Quinta Da Saudade has air-conditioning.

Accommodation consists of one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and one twin bedroom with a further bathroom.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has a microwave, toaster, juicer, coffee maker, washing machine and a full range of saucepans, cutlery and crockery.

The sitting/dining room has satellite television and a stereo.  For winter months, there is a wood-burning stove.

The villa 3B Quinta Da Saudade has a large roof terrace that has sun loungers, table and chairs.  There is also a barbecue.  There is a breakfast terrace built to the side of the villa.

The rent also includes the use of all the amenities at the Quinta, except for a charge for the tennis court.  Logs and electricity are charged as extras during the Winter months only.

Bookings are on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday, but if your holiday has to start on specific days, please let me know – we can be flexible.  We look after all the Quinta da Saudade villas.  View more opportunities here
