VILLA 2A, QUINTA DA SAUDADE

Villa 2A is a two bedroom air-conditioned villa situated on the Quinta da Saudade situated just ten minutes west of Albufeira and just forty five minutes drive from Faro Airport.

The Quinta nestles in the peaceful country setting of an old hillside farm estate and set amid orange, almond and olive trees

The villa has wonderful views along the valley where apart from the scenery it is possible to see many interesting birds and watch the horses leaving on the regular rides across the country side or down to the beach, which is about a mile away.

Accommodation consists of one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom and a separate bathroom.  There is a fully fitted modern kitchen with washing machine and microwave.  The sitting room is equipped with a log fire, satellite television, a DVD player and iPod speakers.

The villa has three separate outside areas to sit or sunbathe.  The large side terrace has a built-in barbecue, covered seating area, table and chairs and sun loungers.  The roof terrace has tables, chairs and sun-loungers and stunning views across the valley.  To the front of the villa is a terrace again with outside furniture.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS VILLA HAS 38 STEPS LEADING TO ITS ENTRANCE SO IS UNSUITABLE FOR THOSE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES

The Quinta is ideal for families and has two swimming pools, a separate children’s paddling pool, a tennis court and riding stables where you can have a calm walk through the mountains or a gallop across the dunes.  There is also petanque and a table tennis table.  There is a small pool bar serving a selection of refreshments and a restaurant and bar in the old farmhouse that is open during the evenings.

There is a beautiful sandy beach stretching for three kilometres just a two minute drive away and there are plenty of other attractions for all the family including Zoomarine, water parks and golf courses.  The Salgados wetlands, which can be seen from the villa, have a plethora of migrating and interesting birds

There is maid service three times during the week and wireless internet that is available in both the farmhouse bar and the Quinta Office.
