VILLA 10B, QUINTA DA SAUDADE

Casa Tinho (Villa 10b) is a two bedroom air-conditioned villa situated on the Quinta da Saudade, a mature development set on a hillside of orange, almond and olive trees. It is approximately seven kilometres west of Albufeira and forty five kilometres from Faro Airport.

The Quinta has two swimming pools, one large pool with separate shallow end for smaller children and a quieter kidney shaped pool, both set in beautiful gardens.  Other facilities include a tennis court, mini golf, petanque, table tennis and a children’s play area with its own paddling pool.

The original Quinta farmhouse has been converted into an independently run bar and restaurant. During the high season there is a pool bar that serves light meals, ice-creams and drinks throughout the day and holds its famous barbecues.

The riding stables at the Quinta have a good selection of horses suitable for all standards and are available for countryside or beach rides and lessons.

Accommodation consists of a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom with separate family bathroom.

There is a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave amongst the usual appliances.  The sitting/dining room has a television with a selection of English channels, a DVD player, sound system and wood burning stove.  Sliding doors lead out onto a large terrace with a built in barbecue, shaded dining area, tables, chairs and sun loungers.

The Casa Tinho Villa 10B has internet access.  Linen and towels are provided but clients are asked to bring their own towels for use by the beach and the pools.  There is maid service during the week.

The Quinta is within easy reach of a number of beautiful unspoilt beaches, Salgados golf course and the Salgados wetlands nature reserve. For the more active, Zoomarine and watersplash parks are also a short drive away.

The Quinta da Saudade has always been a popular holiday destination for families as it has all the facilities to entertain children and adults alike.

Electricity and firewood are charged as extras between November and March.

Access to 10b is via steps and this unfortunately makes it unsuitable for wheelchairs.
